Baby Names : Find a Year

The Social Security Administration does provide at least one interesting service - the list of the most popular baby names - the top one thousand baby names for each year.

But the shortcoming of that service is that it counts each spelling variation of a name as a separate name. This web page exists to re-order the Social Security baby name list by combining names that sound alike but are spelled differently (homophones or heterographs).
